藝人楚宣加入民視8點檔「黃金歲月」，過去總是演出苦情女的她，這回大變身，為了角色女扮男裝，她特地剪去30公分長髮，一改昔日柔美形象，變得有些「酷酷的」，一開始她還有點捨不得，但剪完頭髮後，身邊的讚聲此起彼落，誇她因髮型的改變，而比以前更亮眼，才讓她安心不少，羞認：「好像真的有點帥！」
自「大時代」後，楚宣暌違2年回歸8點檔，坦言真的會緊張，尤其前陣子剛拍攝完社會寫實金鐘劇「日蝕遊戲」，從單機的作業回到棚內作業，一度轉換不過來，經過現場導演的排戲再找回感覺。這次在劇中飾演陳美鳳姐妹淘的女兒「林宜方」，因為母親生病過世，北上找陳美鳳，沒想到途中卻發生許多意想不到的事情，讓她不得不女扮男裝偽裝自己。
